The Core Competencies Tracking Tool has been published to help aspiring and new farmers target significant knowledge, experience or confidence gaps and create a strategy to address those gaps. The tool can be adopted according to the needs of the new farmer and their trainer.

The Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association (ALBA) is a non-profit organization located in Monterey County, California.

This package includes our 8-page Guide to Starting Kids on the Land and six separate how-to manuals for conducting a Kids on the Land programs. These six manuals are designed by grade-level. The first begins with Kindergarten and they progress sequentially to Grade 5.
