The Marketing module is designed to help beginning farmers and ranchers develop and implement their goals for market analysis, product establishment, and development of viable marketing channels.

The purpose of the Introduction to Whole Farm Planning module is to help beginning farmers and ranchers in Virginia to make informed farm planning decisions by introducing them to the whole farm planning process.

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) developed the Microloan (ML) program to better serve the unique financial operating needs of beginning, niche and the smallest of family farm operations by modifying its Operating Loan (OL) application, eligibility and security requirements.

"The North Carolina Agriculture Cost Share Program helps address nonpoint pollution by providing technical and financial resources to prevent damage to our water resources from soil erosion, excessive fertilizer use, animal waste contamination, and improper use of agricultural chemicals.

"The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Agribusiness Development Office is conducting a pilot project to loan small batch dairy pasteurizers to specialty farmstead dairy producers in North Carolina.
