Farm Financing - Small Farm Loans

The Carrot Project offer loans to small farms in Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont, especially those having difficulty obtaining credit and use or are moving toward organic/sustainable practices or serve local and regional markets. Funds may be used for capital investments, such as equipment or buildings, to expand farm production or sales, or value-added enterprises. Other eligible expenses include farm operations or repairs necessary to maintain farm operations. Farmers may apply for loans of up to $35,000.
