Hawaii New Farmer Loan

The Agricultural Loan Program helps promote agricultural and aquacultural development of Hawaii by providing credit at reasonable rates and terms to qualifying individuals or entities. Applicants must be citizens of the United States who have resided in Hawaii for the preceding three years, or a permanent resident alien who has resided in Hawaii for the preceding three years; and meet experience requirements. Funds may be used to purchase or improve farmland; construct, or improve of essential farm buildings; purchase farm equipment and livestock; production and marketing expenses including materials, labor, and services; and living expenses.
