Funded by USDA's Office of Outreach, the Multicultural Farmers Program has included Integrated Pest Management (IPM) trainings, computer and web training programs, blueberry production workshops and farm visits, business management and loan workshops, hoop house training workshops, and more. The program assists limited resource, African-American and Hispanic/Latino farmers in becoming more economically viable by providing access to various programs and on-farm help, showing them ways to improve their operations.
