State laws vary widely from one state to the next. The National Agricultural Law Center compiles state statutes that exist in specific topics of agricultural law as an ongoing project. These compilations range from animal cruelty statutes to laws affecting the recreational use of land to statutory provisions targeted at agri-tourism operations, and provide a brief snapshot of the wide variety of laws enacted across the U.S.
